Delete your data

You can remove a connected account's data yourself, or have your whole Coolposts account deleted.

Remove one connected account

In Coolposts, open Channels & settings and press Disconnect next to the account. We delete its access tokens at once and stop reading it. Its comments, messages, statistics and imported posts are kept for 90 days in case you reconnect, then deleted. To delete them straight away, press Delete data next to the disconnected account. Posts you wrote in Coolposts stay in your calendar until you delete them or your account.

Delete your Coolposts account

Email hello@coolposts.co from the address you sign in with, asking us to delete your account. We delete your workspace, its brands, connected accounts, posts, media, comments, messages, bio pages, links and statistics within 30 days, and confirm by email.

Disconnect Canva

In Coolposts, open the menu with your name › Personal information › Connected apps and press Disconnect next to Canva. We revoke our access in Canva and delete the stored tokens and your Canva user id at once. The ids of designs opened from your posts are deleted with your Coolposts account. Your designs stay in your Canva account, and images you brought into posts stay in those posts until you delete them.

Remove Coolposts from Facebook, Instagram or Threads

On Facebook: Settings & privacy › Settings › Business integrations (or Apps and websites) › Coolposts › Remove. On Instagram: Settings › Website permissions › Apps and websites › Coolposts › Remove. On Threads: Settings › Account › Website permissions › Coolposts › Remove; a deletion request made there deletes what we stored from that profile. This stops our access straight away; to also delete what we stored, press Delete data on the account in Coolposts or email us as above.

If you're not a Coolposts user

If you commented on or messaged an account that uses Coolposts and want that removed from our servers, email hello@coolposts.co with your username and the account you wrote to. We'll delete it within 30 days.
